As the son of a construction engineer, I grew up immersed in the construction industry, where I developed a deep passion for building and project management. From an early age, my father introduced me to various skills and techniques on job sites, and I began working in his construction company at the age of eleven. Starting with simple tasks, I quickly proved my capabilities, culminating in my first project management role at sixteen.
After completing high school, I pursued a degree in Business Management at Mainor University, followed by several years as a construction entrepreneur. Recognizing the importance of formal education, I enrolled at Tallinna Technical College to earn my construction engineering degree while simultaneously managing the family business. Following my father's passing, I continued to lead the company, collaborating with various reputable construction firms.
Seeking new challenges, I accepted a position as a Project Manager at Bauest AB in Sweden. This role allowed me to refine my management skills over two years, where I balanced family decisions and career growth.
Eventually, I returned to Estonia, where I took on a Project Manager role at Nordic Houses, a manufacturer of wooden prefabricated homes. My strong construction background enabled me to oversee major projects, successfully completing 11 projects during my tenure.
After two years, I transitioned to Metkon Projekt, where I managed the production and installation of steel and glass structures. However, the pandemic necessitated a difficult decision: I chose to return to my home island of Saaremaa to be with my family. While working remotely, I co-founded a construction company with my best friend, which we grew to become the third-largest construction firm on Saaremaa within three years.
As I look towards the future, I am eager to further my education and engage in extraordinary projects that leave a lasting impact on the industry. I am dedicated to building a meaningful legacy in construction and metal fabrication field and am seeking new opportunities to apply my expertise and passion.
